Position Overview

​

We are seeking a Mechanical or Biomedical Engineer to join our team full-time at our Buffalo, NY location. This is a hands-on role for an early-career professional who is excited to learn, build, and contribute to medical device innovation.

​

As part of a tight-knit team, you will work directly with the R&D team on all phases of product development—from ideation to prototyping to testing. You’ll have the opportunity to learn medical device design controls and best practices in a fast-paced, mentorship-rich environment.

Responsibilities

​

• Design components, assemblies, and fixtures using SolidWorks

• Collaborate with team members to develop prototypes and iterate on designs

• Translate clinical insights into tangible engineering solutions

• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and risk assessments

• Support testing and documentation in compliance with early-stage design processes

 

Qualifications

​

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

• 1–5 years of experience in product design, prototyping, or mechanical development (medical device experience not required)

• Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential

• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Eagerness to learn design control practices and grow in a regulated development environment
