Position Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical or Biomedical Engineer to join our team full-time at our Buffalo, NY location. This is a hands-on role for an early-career professional who is excited to learn, build, and contribute to medical device innovation.
As part of a tight-knit team, you will work directly with the R&D team on all phases of product development—from ideation to prototyping to testing. You’ll have the opportunity to learn medical device design controls and best practices in a fast-paced, mentorship-rich environment.
Responsibilities

Design components, assemblies, and fixtures using SolidWorks

Collaborate with team members to develop prototypes and iterate on designs

Translate clinical insights into tangible engineering solutions

Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and risk assessments

Support testing and documentation in compliance with early-stage design processes
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

1–5 years of experience in product design, prototyping, or mechanical development (medical device experience not required)

Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential

Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Eagerness to learn design control practices and grow in a regulated development environment
